Why have sessions at Home/Office/Gym/Clubhouse/Park?

Why leave the comfort of your own home, office or other familiar environment to see a Physiotherapist or trainer – Save time, effort and money and let us come to you.

You are more likely to continue your exercises if you are able to see how they fit in to your own environment and lifestyle. Those clients that rehabilitate well are always those who have been doing their exercises away from the clinic.

Many Physiotherapy practices and gyms don’t have the space required for successful functional rehabilitation- you do – Spare room, conservatory, study, hallway, garden, garage, hotel room, meeting/conference room, sports club, gym, park, village hall.

Just had surgery? In too much pain to leave the house! What about the kids? I need to stay in for a delivery, I’m awaiting an urgent call, I don’t have enough time to get to the clinic and back, traffic’s bad – We all find excuses or have to cancel clinic visits – let us come to you and save you the trouble.

What better way to understand and resolve the causes of postural back, neck and joint pain than to actually see where and how you work, rest and play.

Do I have enough space?

Yes! You would be surprised at how a little lateral thinking and a lot of specialist portable equipment enables Physio2You to successfully assess, treat and train people in their own homes, offices or place of their choice.

Below are a few guides to the amount of space required – but don’t worry, if you don’t have the space we have various venues near to you – just give us a call.

Verbal Assessment-
  A reasonably quiet room

Physical Assessment-

Standing, sitting, lying or moving.
the amount of privacy required depends on you and which area of the body we are working with.

Treatment Couch-

Minimum space required =

Physio / gym type exercises-
Minimal space such as a hallway or centre of a room.

Sports Rehabilitation-

Inside space of minimum 3.7m² (40ft²)
OR garden, garage, driveway, park – You are going to get hot and sweaty anyway!

But I already have a Physiotherapist / Trainer

Physiotherapy isn’t 10minutes of hands-on treatment and then finish off with a machine – we believe in full 30min sessions of hands-on assessment, treatment and/or focussed 1-2-1 rehabilitation.

Training isn’t watching someone on a machine or carrying out a standardised program – we believe in functional, specific, effective and client-focussed training and rehabilitation.

Due to low overheads we don’t need to cram the diary full of clients or overlap sessions, we give you as much treatment as we think necessary on the day.

Most Physio’s charge double to visit their clients at home, office or elsewhere – we don’t have clinic overheads and so pass on the savings to you.

Read my profile, see the equipment we have available to use, realise the many experiences and specialties weI have to draw upon – I challenge you to find a Physiotherapist, Trainer, rehabilitator or coach who is more committed, focussed or qualified to make you better.

But I could just join a gym or class

Contrary to what most ‘lifestyle healthclubs’ would have you believe, you need minimal equipment to successfully achieve your health and fitness goals – in fact you are more likely to continue long-term and improve in a way that helps in real-life if you fit exercise into daily life and use simple principles such as body weight loading, leverage, proprioception and plyometrics.

Strength and cardio-vascular training on machines does little to prepare your body for real-life stresses and strains. In reality most day to day tasks and activities are multi-directional in nature (flexing, extending and rotation) and vary in speed, position and situation. Bin the gym, and train to win!
